Increased Diversity Training
To continue to ensure a safe and healthy workspace, we’ve designed team training to focus on diversity and inclusivity. To do this, we have scheduled Diversity and Cultural training with Crispus Attucks for our leadership team, supervisors and key operators. This training will focus on areas such as general overall diversity, cultural awareness and sensitivity to identify issues of stereotyping and implicit bias.
Engaging Employees with Bilingual Materials
We want all of our employees to know they are important and we value their cultural values. To do this, we launched employee focus groups to further our understanding of needs to develop tailored programs. We will also provide verbal and written translation services for our Spanish-speaking employees.
Giving Back to Our Community
Wolfgang Confectioners is committed to supporting the community where we do business. As a company, we are working the Lifepath Christian Ministries in their vocational programs to assist with employment opportunities to support re-entry from prison and other Lifepath programs.
We will also partner with Bell Socialization in support of their donation drive and volunteer at events. Additionally, we will be a partner in Bell Socialization’s vocation programs to assist with employment opportunities.
